Newborn photography in Bangalore, at our Koramangala studio or at home. The first two weeks pass quickly — we photograph newborns gently and patiently, and give you back the pictures you will still want in twenty years.
About newborn sessions
Congratulations. Somewhere near the top of the list right now is finding a photographer who can be trusted with a days-old baby.
Newborns do not take direction. Our baby photographers are trained for this and, more to the point, they are patient: the session moves at the baby’s pace, with as many breaks for feeding and settling as it takes. Nothing is rushed and nothing is forced.
Sessions run at our Koramangala studio or at your home, whichever is easier in the first couple of weeks. Get in touch before the due date and we will hold a slot for the window after the birth.

Book before the birth
The easiest time to arrange a session is while you are still expecting. It means the shoot can happen inside the first two weeks without anyone scrambling for a date.

The first 5 to 10 days are ideal
A newborn sleeps deeply and curls naturally, so those settled, folded poses are still possible. After a few weeks the baby begins to stretch out and posing gets harder.

Siblings and family are welcome
Brothers, sisters, parents and grandparents can all be part of the session. Some of the best frames of the day are the ones with the whole family in them.

FAQs about newborn photography
Before your child is born. Booking while you are still expecting is what makes it possible to photograph the baby within two weeks of the birth, which is when these pictures are at their sweetest.
The sooner the better. A newborn spends most of the day asleep, so we can settle them gently into the curled-up poses everyone wants. After a few weeks the baby starts to stretch out and those poses are much harder to get.
Of course. Brothers, sisters and the wider family are welcome in the session, and having the baby surrounded by the people who have been waiting for them usually makes for the best frames of the day.
Sessions are best held within 5 to 10 days of the birth, while the baby is easy to move and settle. Later is still possible, but posing gets more difficult, so the shoot leans towards awake and family pictures instead.
